BONNIE CHASE

With heavy hearts we announce the passing of Bonnie Laureen Chase at the age of 66 years. Bonnie was surrounded by her children and the wonderful care of the Grace Hospital Staff.

Bonnie grew up on a farm near Brunkild, Manitoba with her parents, Harold and Jean Chase and brother Ken. In her younger years she was an excellent seamstress and loved to bake. In her more recent years she became a sports fan and enjoyed watching all of the Blue Bomber and Jets games on TV. Bonnie also enjoyed music, particularly listening to the music of Keith Urban! She loved being a Mother and Grandmother, “Little Grandma” will be missed dearly.

Left to honour Bonnie and remember her love are her three children Heather (Rori) Bouchard, Lori Junkin  and Andrew (Jenna) Junkin; grandchildren Aiden, Van, Cole and Dane; brother Ken (Marg) Chase and nieces Stacie and Kyla Chase and last but not least her dearest friend Carol Anseeuw.

A memorial service will be held at 1:00 p.m.  Saturday, December 17, 2016 in the First Unitarian Universalist Church of Winnipeg, 603 Wellington Crescent at Academy Road.

Bonnie’s children would like to extend a very special thank you to all of the support from the staff at the Grace Hospital Internal Medicine Unit, ICU and South 5 Unit as well as Homecare and Care at Home Pharmacy.
