COURTNEY ANN CHURCH

Courtney Church died on Sunday, April 2, 2017 at the age of 32 years.

She is survived by her parents Cam and Cindy Church; sisters Carla Church (Mike Kostelniak) and Cari Church (Neil Martin); grandmother Thelma Church and grandfather Abe Falk.  She was predeceased her grandfather Roy Church and grandmother Shirley Falk.

Courtney was very artistic with a passion for drawing and painting. She had a love for all animals but especially for her cat Tigger whom she raised from an orphaned kitten.

Courtney had a strong interest in fashion and always had a closet full of clothes. She could be found spending hours doing her hair and makeup, even for a quick trip to the grocery store. She was very adept at thrift shopping and could always find an interesting treasure.

Courtney was a mischievous child. When she was very young, she stayed up all night to prove that Santa wasn't real. She proceeded to inform her older sister (who at the time was still a believer).

Courtney was a night owl with an insatiable sweet tooth and a wacky sense of humor. She will be missed.

A celebration of Courtney’s life will take place between 2:00 and 4:00 p.m. Friday, April 21, 2017 (with a brief program starting at 2:45 pm.) in the First Unitarian Unitarian Church of Winnipeg, 603 Wellington Crescent at Academy Road.
