Darlene McLean

April 28, 1941 – November 26, 2016

DARLENE MCLEAN

(née Walton)

Darlene passed peacefully, at the Riverview Health Centre, from the world and into the arms of her Lord and Savior.

She will be missed by her husband Richard of 57 years; daughter Sherry Graham (Cliff); grandson Evan (Amy) and many relatives and friends.

Mom was born in Swan River and moved to Winnipeg after getting married. She worked at Deer Lodge Hospital as well as Polo Park and Portage Place Shopping Centres. Her greatest joy in life was raising her daughter and later looking after her grandson. Over the years Mom and Dad were able to travel across the United States in Richard’s semi-truck.

Mom touched a lot of hearts with her love and compassion. She never hesitated to help anyone in need. She will be missed.

A memorial service will be held at 2:00 p.m. Wednesday Dec 7, 2016 in the Salvation Army Heritage Park Temple, 825 School Road.

In lieu of flowers please make a donation to The Salvation Army or an animal shelter of choice.
