EUGENE

DAIGNEAULT

EUGENE ANDRE JOSEPH DAIGNEAULT

March 19, 1956 - May 9,2019

It is with great sadness that we announce the sudden passing of Eugene on May 9, 2019 at the young age of 63.

He leaves many, here on earth, to celebrate his life and cherish the time we had together with him. To name a few his wife Kim along with his children Chris, Jeremy, Dylan, Karissa, Scotty, Kyrra,  Donny, Corey, Sean, and J.P.; grandchildren Lexi, Kaden, Ryden and Aleasia; brother Tommy; and sisters Patty, Joanne, and Helen. Eugene was predeceased by his parents Joseph and Ethel Daigneault.

Eugene had a heart of gold and would do anything to help anyone.  He had a firm understanding of what was important to him which was family. He loved his children more than words can express. Eugene also loved his job at Standard Aero where he worked for 37 years. He had many friends and often shared  work stories at home. Eugene enjoyed golf (looked forward to bragging rights against his good buddies Alex and Morris) and fishing in his spare time. He was pretty easy going although he had a love/hate relationship with  online poker, we always knew when he was playing because we could hear him through the house laughing saying “alright” or yelling using other words of expression. His signature look was a t-shirt and jeans which coincided with his laid back relaxed personality. He will be greatly missed by many.

A memorial service will be held at 2:00 pm Friday May 24, 2019 at 603 Wellington Crescent at Academy Road (Unitarian Church).
