STEPHEN GLOVER

It is with great sadness we announce the passing of Steve after a courageous battle with bladder cancer. Steve is survived by his long-time partner Cindy and family; parents Jean and Brian; brother Tony (Marlene); sister Carol; nephews Sean and Ryan; niece Stephanie; as well as many friends.

 

Steve was born in a small town, Nantwich, England. He was four years old when he came to Canada. For most of his life he grew up in St. Vital (Kingston Row). He went to Windsor School and then graduated from Glenlawn Collegiate with honours. He then took a job at Paramount Windows where he worked until his illness.

 

Steve loved anywhere close to water; Grand Beach, Lakes, anything outdoorsy; basically any where he could swim, fish, and hike. He could walk for miles and think nothing of it. Steve would walk to work and back home, even in minus 40.

 

Steve enjoyed going to his buddies cottage (Leo's) in the Whiteshell. Long weekends were often spent in Lac Du Bonnet at Cheryl and Wayne's.

 

The family would like to thank the Doctor's and Nurses at CancerCare as well as the palliative Nurses for their care and compassion during this difficult time.

 

In lieu of flowers and keeping with Steve's wishes, donations can be made to Siloam mission or a food bank of your choice.

You will be in our heart forever and always Steve. Thanks for the wonderful memories, the pain is gone and now you can be at peace.
