ROGER EMILE JUBINVILLE

It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Roger. The lymphoma he battled had returned and there was no cure.

Roger was predeceased by his parents, Arthur and Yolande Jubinville; his brother Georges; and his sister Claudette.

Roger leaves to mourn his loss, his three daughters, Shannon (Mike), Alexandria, and Cassandra; and two grandchildren, Montana and Wyatt. He also leaves his eight brothers and sisters, Jules (Bonnie), Lucette, Louis (Elizabeth), Evelyn, Paulette (Ray), Claude (Donna), Denise (Vern), and Paul; many nieces and nephews; and grandnieces and grandnephews.

Roger was born and raised in Winnipeg. He moved to Calgary in his twenties and worked in the trucking industry. He would spend his weekends playing in baseball tournaments. Roger returned to Winnipeg and continued his trucking career with Kindersley Transport.

Roger loved sports and played, coached and umpired baseball in his younger years. He also played hockey where he tended net.

In recent years, he was an avid fan of the Jets, Bombers, and Goldeyes.

Roger was a people person and would talk to anyone, anywhere.

His family and friends will miss his frequent phone calls and boisterous conversations. Our Jubinville gatherings and card games will never be the same.

A celebration of Roger’s life will take place after COVID-19 restrictions are lifted.

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the charity of your choice.
