HALINA NAULT

With heavy hearts the family announces the unexpected  passing of  Helen Nault at St. Boniface Hospital.

Helen leaves to mourn daughter Kim (Harry), grandsons Colin & Devin, daughter Michele, special friends Diane and Helen.

Helen was predeceased by father Edward, mother Gladys and son Raymond.

Mom spent her early years in Hairdressing. Fellow students called mom "Lady Clairol" as she was doing highlights long before they became a thing.

Mom worked several years at the Fort Rouge Legion as the door person, then moved on to the Superstore Meat Department for over 20 years until retirement.

Family was everything to mom. Becoming a grandmother was the joy of mom's life. She looked forward to Holiday dinners and celebrations.

Mom silently carried the weight of losing a son with her each day.

Mom enjoyed spending time going for lunch or dinner with her children. She liked going for car rides on nice days.

Mom discovered her love of travel later in life. She loved going on cruises and would spend all day and evening exploring the ships.

Mom's unselfish and caring nature shone through right to the end.

A nurse told us that mom was the nicest patient she has ever had.

That was mom!  We miss her dearly.

We would like to thank the ICU Team for  all their efforts. A special thank you to Dr. Shelly Zubert for all her compassion, and patiently answering all our questions.

As per mom's wishes there will be no formal service.
