LOUISE ANN SANDERS
(née PONIMETS)

It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of our dear sweet wife, mom, grandma, daughter, sister, and aunt on March 12, 2020. After a courageous and lengthy battle in hospital, Louise passed away peacefully, surrounded by family, at the age of 75.

Louise will be greatly missed by her husband Brian; children Cheryl (Roy), Darryl (Verna), and Ryan (Stacy); mother Anne; sister Judi; grandchildren; nieces; cousins, and friends. She was pre-deceased by her father Peter.

Louise was born in Winnipeg and grew up in St. Boniface, where she attended Nelson MacIntyre Collegiate and married her high school sweetheart, Brian, in April 1962. She was a wonderful and hard working mother to her three kids but also worked for the Manitoba Government for over 25 years. Mom made a lot of lifelong friends during her time there and enjoyed staying in touch over the years.

Louise unselfishly devoted her time to her family and friends. She was always a caregiver and constantly put the needs of others ahead of her own; she was selfless and caring above all else. Mom loved to cook; she would often be found in the kitchen and would show her love by preparing meals and baking for the family. Mom loved to laugh, be silly, and had a playful heart; she loved to listen to music and would never waste an opportunity to break into dance, laughing and joking until we couldn't laugh anymore. She was a loving wife, a wonderful mother, a dear sister, and a kind hearted person, who will forever live in our hearts.

Service details will be announced at a later date when the shutdown has been lifted.
