With heavy hearts, we announce that Penny passed away on August 16, 2020 in the Women’s Hospital at the age of 66.
Penny is survived by her husband of 36 years Chris; sister Linda, and extended family.
Penny was born October 11, 1954 in Swift Current, Saskatchewan. She studied stenography at Herzing College in Winnipeg, Manitoba and got a permanent position as a civilian stenographer at Air Command Headquarters.
She always had a keen interest in animal care that she began taking courses and later began volunteering at a Veterinarians office.
Besides having cats her main hobby was colour pencil art that she spent many hours doing. She had another enjoyment in her life and that was to go camping and hiking with her loving husband. They spent many weeks travelling all over Western Canada
In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be made to any no-kill animal shelter or a charity of friends own choice.
