BRENT ROBERT SINNOCK

It is with great sadness that the family of Brent Robert Sinnock announces his passing, on Sunday, May 17, 2020, at the age of 59 years.

Brent was predeceased by his father Jack and mother Susan.  He is survived by his wife (37 years) Sandra and his daughters, Cassandra and Skyler, his brothers Jack (Bernice), Randy (Shirley) and Garry (Luci) and stepmother Caroline. Brent will also be fondly remembered by his many nieces and nephews, extended family and dear friends.

Brent was born on September 13, 1960, in Norwood and attended Nelson MacIntyre Collegiate. He received a Bachelor of Arts Degree from the University of Manitoba and worked for the Province of Manitoba as a vehicle inspector before beginning his career as the manager of Bud’s Greenhouses Ltd.  He was a lover of animals and encouraged his daughters to become equestrians and competitive dog handlers.  He also had an avid interest in antique and classic cars.

At Nelson MacIntyre Collegiate he gained the nickname “Bud”.  Brent enjoyed watching the Winnipeg Blue Bombers and was a Habs fan at heart. Also watching the Winnipeg Jets with “Bud from Headingley” coming to you live on TSN. On May 24, 2020 dear to Brent, his longtime childhood Norwood boys got together to toast Brent and ending with an eight piston salute.

Special thanks to the staff of St. Boniface Hospital Heart Failure Clinic for the compassionate care they provided Brent over the last few years.

As per Brent’s wishes, cremation has been arranged. A memorial gathering will be held in the near future and posted here.

Memorial donations in memory of Brent can be made to the Heart and Stroke Foundation or a charity of your choice.
